Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Program Delivery team, part of our Finance Controllership business at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.An exciting role for an individual to be a key player in the team responsible for developing and executing future finance strategy. This role will ensure the roll out of new Target Operating Models & technologies within Marsh working with stakeholders at all levels.
You will play a key role in shaping and delivering change that improves how the organization operates
This role is Fixed Term Contract role until Dec 2027 with possible extension.
We will count on you to:
- Lead complex programs and projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Develop and maintain robust project plans, governance, RAID logs, and status reporting to provide clear visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders, driving alignment, accountability, and timely decision-making across workstreams
- Manage project scope, change control, and prioritization to ensure delivery remains focused on business outcomes
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating where appropriate and driving practical resolutions
- Support the design and implementation of operating model, process, technology, or change initiatives, depending on program needs
- Build strong relationships with business leaders, subject matter experts, and delivery partners to enable effective collaboration
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with organizational standards, governance requirements, and best practices
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and embedding more effective ways of working across projects and programs
What you need to have:
- Proven experience in project or program management, with a focus on change management, from within a large matrixed organisation. .
- Experience of delivering complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and functions
- Strong knowledge of project management disciplines, including planning, governance, risk management, dependency management, and reporting
- Experience managing senior stakeholders and presenting clear, concise updates to leadership
- Ability to work in a structured way while remaining adaptable in fast-paced and changing environments
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse issues, assess impacts, and recommend practical solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of the organization
- Experience using standard project management tools and methodologies
- Be a self-starter with exceptional organizational capabilities
