Description

The Zoning, Planning, and Development Coordinator is a key dual-capacity role responsible for supporting both 
planning and economic development functions within the Village. This position plays an integral role in 
advancing the Village’s strategic growth by ensuring zoning ordinances, codes, and development initiatives are 
effectively administered, maintained, and aligned with long-term community objectives.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field 
-Master’s degree preferred 
-Professional certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), or the ability to obtain 
within one year of hire

-3–4 years of relevant experience in municipal government or a similar setting 
- Familiarity with municipal procedures, zoning regulations, and development processes
