- Youth Sports Supervisor
Description
The 30/30 Flag Football Supervisor is responsible for providing on-site leadership and support during league activities. This position helps ensure games are conducted in a safe, organized and positive environment while serving as a resource for participants, coaches, parents and officials.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Serve as the on-site supervisor during 30/30 Flag Football games and activities.
Assist with field setup and breakdown.
Support officials, coaches and participants throughout game days.
Help manage game schedules, equipment and facility needs.
Address participant, coach and parent questions in a professional manner.
Monitor games and activities to ensure a safe and positive environment.
Respond appropriately to incidents, injuries and emergencies following Apex PRD procedures.
Communicate program concerns, attendance and game-day updates to recreation staff.
Enforce league policies, procedures and sportsmanship expectations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum hiring age: 16.
Experience participating in, coaching or officiating youth sports.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Ability to interact positively with youth, parents, coaches and staff.
Ability to lift and carry program equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Education and Experience:
Some high school preferred.
Work Environment:
Physical Abilities
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or sit on the floor as needed during activities or tasks.
Ability to maintain balance and coordination while assisting with physical activities or working on uneven terrain.
Work Environment
Work may take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions including sun, heat, cold, snow, and humidity.
Noise levels range from moderate to loud, often due to active children, group interactions, or busy transportation settings.
Work may occur in environments with poor acoustics, distractions, or high activity levels.
