| Job Summary | This position will support internal UK HealthCare clinical teams, Advancing KY Together (AKT) initiatives, and healthcare organizations across Kentucky in advancing quality improvement, practice innovation, and value-based care strategies. The Quality Improvement Advisor will assess organizational readiness for transformation, identify workflow and operational improvement opportunities, and develop and implement strategic initiatives and service line offerings. This position will communicate complex concepts to organizational leaders and leverage expertise in health information technology (HIT), data analysis, quality measurement and program management to support implementation of practice innovation and quality improvement initiatives. This position will serve as a resource for routine and complex technical and strategic questions; ensure programs align with applicable regulatory requirements; and support data-driven decision-making through performance tracking and reporting. The role will also partner with leadership to advance the KY REC strategic plan and support enterprise and statewide transformation efforts. This position will develop and deliver educational offerings for staff and stakeholders using a variety of modalities and will remain current on federal, state, and local regulations and trends impacting value-based care. This position will also provide leadership and subject matter expertise in interpreting and responding to evolving healthcare policy and regulatory environments. |
