- Senior Designer & Project Director
Description
DCDC is seeking qualified candidates with a background in architecture and/or urban design. The Director position will be a key part of the DCDC team and will be responsible for day-to-day leadership of project staff and deliverables. Applicants should have a working background in architecture and community design project & practice management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Office administration
- Directing and managing projects, overseeing production and reviewing all project materials and deliverables, developing project materials and final deliverables
- Managing and overseeing junior staff and students assigned to the Project Director's projects
- Mentoring junior staff and students assigned to the Project Director's projects
- Business and Fund Development - identifying and securing new project contracts and grants, writing project and grant proposals
Requirements
Applicants should have experience taking a project through to construction document and construction administration and experience coordinating and reviewing engineering and other consultant work. Applicants should be highly motivated, organized, and self-directed. Candidates should have a professional degree in architecture with 8 years of related work experience. Must be familiar with Adobe Cloud, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and CAD/Revit. Visit dcdc-udm.org for more information on DCDC. The position is in person.
