The Village of Pingree Grove is growing and is seeking a replacement for our retiring sewer supervisor. The ideal candidate to join our Public Works Department is a motivated, hands-on individual. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced public works professional who enjoys both field operations and team supervision while helping maintain critical Village infrastructure.
The Public Works Sewer Supervisor serves as a key link between the Director of Public Works and field staff, overseeing daily wastewater operations while supporting water, streets, storm water facilities, and forestry functions as needed.
This is a working supervisor position that combines leadership, technical expertise, emergency response, and field operations.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
IEPA Class I Wastewater Operator License
Valid CLD class A license with air brake endorsement
Additional certifications or licenses are highly valued, including:
o IEPA Water Operator License (Class D, C, or B)
o Herbicide Applicator License
o Certified Arborist License
o Certified Playground Safety Inspector
o Plumbing License
o Electrical License
