Rakuten is developing a daily necessities e-commerce business centered on "Rakuten24 Express" within "Rakuten Ichiba". This business is not limited to mere product sales, but also focuses on creating new customer experiences that lead the industry, such as aggressive TV commercials. "Rakuten24 Express" is a delivery service that delivers products at a time specified by the user. It is a brand new field where we are actively investing and expanding our business to provide users with unprecedented value and build an overwhelming No.1 position.

Position Details

To expand the business's sales and profits, you will analyze challenges in various areas and take responsibility for all phases, from consideration and execution to verification. Significant contributions to the business's medium-term growth are expected.

Main Responsibilities
- Project Portfolio Management
Overseeing multiple projects, prioritizing, allocating resources, and optimizing the overall project
- Project Promotion and Execution
Leading the team and achieving quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets while building consensus with stakeholders
- Problem Solving and Risk Management
Developing proactive mitigation measures for potential risks and providing rapid solutions to issues that arise. Execution
- Reporting to Management
Visualizing progress and results for management to support decision-making
- Team Management
Developing team members to maximize their performance and standardizing PM skills

Examples of Recent Major Projects
- Improving the revenue structure to achieve short-term profitability
- Improving customer satisfaction (CS improvement) through service quality improvement (user support quality improvement)
- Improving operational efficiency and standardization (operational quality improvement) by utilizing group resources

This position allows you to hone your overall skills in driving business forward.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of experience in strategy and service planning work for a consulting firm or operating company
- Basic knowledge of the daily necessities retail industry and e-commerce

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience in service planning in the daily necessities industry
- Experience in analyzing and planning using Power Point and Excel (experience using vlookup and pivot)
