Project Manager Science, Exploration and Space Safety (m/f/d)

Yor Tasks

The Directorate of Predevelopment,Proposals and Space System Stdies is a strategic cornerstone of the company'sproject pipeline. It drives the early shaping of ftre space missions bytranslating cstomer reqirements into technically sond and competitiveconcepts. Within this directorate, the Department of Science, Exploration andSpace Safety Missions focses on the conceptalisation and matration ofmissions related to astrophysics, planetary science, robotic solar systemexploration, space safety, planetary defence, space weather, in-orbitservicing, in-space logistics and debris mitigation. By bridging scientificambition with engineering feasibility, the department plays a key role insecring the OHB's leadership in ftre international space programs.

As an experienced and committed ProjectManager (m/f/d), yo will be responsible for the sccessfl implementationof exciting and complex proposals and projects in the domains of science andspace safety in Phases /A and B1. Yo will lead interdisciplinary projectteams, ensring efficient collaboration and optimal performance. Yo will playa key role in the planning, coordination and management of projects to ensrethat they are completed on time, cost-effectively and to the highest qality.

Yor Tasks

Responsible for the project management for proposals and projects in Phases /A/B1. Be accontable for the cost, schedle and performance of stdies or projects.

Spport the preparation and implementation of mission and system proposals.

Analysis, definition and agreement of the reqirements with the project team and the cstomer(s). Lead negotiation with cstomers, potential partners and sppliers.

Strengthen or relationships with clients, and act as a liaison with key stakeholders in client organisations.

Yor Qalifications

Sccessfl completion of stdies in aerospace, engineering, or a related field, demonstrating yor expertise in the sbject matter.

Significant projessional experince as project manager for Phase /A/B1 projects, preferrably in the domains science, exploration and/or space safety. Significant experience in dealing with ESA as a cstomer.

Knowledge of space projects, inclding systems and operations.

Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals

Passion and knowledge in the space field are not jst desirable bt form the fondation of or collective sccess.
Exceptional commnication and negotiation skills.

Strong reslt orientation, operational efficiency and ability to reach pragmatic and timely decisions.

Proficiency in English. Flency in German is an advantage.
