In this role you will work with a trailblazing company in the realm of smart building technology, specializing in a SaaS-based connected platform that integrates hardware and software solutions to optimize building operations. Renowned for its innovative approach to enhancing the performance and health of building systems, the company leverages cutting-edge IoT technology, data analytics, and real-time insights to revolutionize energy management, operational efficiency, and cost reduction in the commercial and industrial real estate sectors.
The Role
We are seeking a self-starting, results-driven Project Manager to act as the quarterback of our client's operations team. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with clients, installation partners, Operations, Sales, and Client Success to deliver connected hardware deployments on time, on budget, and at the highest quality. You will be the central point of accountability and communication - ensuring every stakeholder is aligned, every task is tracked, and every project closes successfully.
Responsibilities:
• Quarterback of Delivery: Coordinate across clients, installers, Operations, Sales, and Client Success, keeping all stakeholders aligned and accountable.
• Ownership & Urgency: Drive projects forward with urgency and discipline, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Provide proactive, transparent updates - good or bad - with weekly client updates and regular internal reporting.
• Project Management Discipline: Log daily updates in Enertiv's project management software to ensure full visibility and eliminate surprises.
• Transparency & Systems Mindset: Operate with full transparency, using systems and tools to create leverage, scale faster, and raise standards.
• Efficiency & Continuous Improvement: Always look for ways to do more with less by streamlining workflows, standardizing processes, and introducing efficiencies.
• Contractor Network Management: Direct and hold installation partners accountable to Enertiv's quality, consistency, and safety standards.
• Quality Leadership: Enforce QA and commissioning checklists, ensuring every deployment meets high standards of accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications and Attributes
Must haves:
• English: Strong verbal and written english communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-3 years managing complex field deployments, installations, or IoT/smart building projects.
• Prior experience working for or with American companies and clients; comfortable communicating directly with U.S.-based stakeholders.
• Advanced user of project management tools (Notion, Asana, Jira, or MS Project).
• Demonstrated ability to build structured project plans, manage dependencies, and enforce accountability across cross-functional teams.
• Strong communicator with U.S.-based clients and internal stakeholders.
• Relentless self-starter with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to standard.
• Calm under pressure, detail-focused, and disciplined in execution.
Nice to have:
• Formal training in project management best practices; PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience working in fast-paced startup environments where urgency, adaptability, and ownership are essential.
• Experience in fieldwork and an understanding of metering infrastructure are desirable
• Strong background in utility metering systems (electric, water, gas) is highly preferred
