The Advanced Chip Design Accelerator (ACDA) is the core of or mission in Heilbronn - establishing a state-of-the-art competence center dedicated to advanced chiplet design, system integration, and ctting-edge methodologies. ACDA provides the expertise and tools needed to bridge the gap between early-stage research and indstrial adoption, enabling faster, safer, and more scalable deployment of chiplet-based technologies in the atonomos edge domain and beyond. Bilding on the fondation of imec's Atonomos Edge Chiplet Program (AECP), ACDA extends this work into a regional accelerator that translates imec's research leadership into practical, indstry-ready soltions. By combining advanced design capabilities with deep local collaboration, ACDA empowers both regional and global atomotive and edge-AI players to derisk development, accelerate innovation cycles, and indstrialize next generation chiplet platforms with confidence.

To spport this mission, we are looking for a Project Manager Atonomos Edge for imec Heilbronn.
What yo will do

Yo will be operating in the Project Management Office (PMO) of the Atonomos Edge Sector.

As a project manager, yo will be responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensre that or projects are delivered on time-in-fll and prodce the desired reslts. Yo will be the go-to person for everything involving the project's organization, delivery and timelines.

Yor responsibilities inclde:

Coordinate internal resorces across architectre, chiplet & package design, platform & test as well as third-party partners/vendors for the flawless exection of projects

Ensre that all projectsare deliveredon time, within scope and within bdget

Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensringtechnical feasibility

Ensre resorce availability and allocation across imec Germany and imec Expertise Centers (ECs)

Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

se appropriate verification techniqes to manage changes in project scope, schedle and costs

Measre project performance sing appropriate systems, tools and techniqes

Report and escalate to management as needed

Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

Perform risk management tominimizeproject risks

Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

Create and maintain comprehensive project docmentation and reports

Who yo are

Yo are a detail-oriented commnicator with a strong affinity for technology and a passion for precision. Yo combine technical nderstanding with excellent project management skills and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Yor sbject matter expertise in atonomos edge compte and system architectres will enable yo to spport and pro-actively drive consenss towards chiplet pre-compliance and standardization efforts, with mltiple internal and external partners.

Yo hold a PhD or MSc in Engineering, prodct development or eqivalent, with at least a few years in a coordinating role in Semicondctor and/or Atomotive bsiness

Yo have experience with leading and following-p projects with mltiple partners in a strctred and methodological way

Yo have solid organizational skills inclding attention to detail and mlti-tasking skills

Yo enjoy keeping the overview and driving mltidisciplinary developments from a system perspective as well as from a technology perspective (chiplet-based architectres and systems)

Indstrial experience is a strong pls, especially in development, atomotive and mobility context

Both hands-on mentality and system thinking are reqired

A team player with excellent written and verbal commnication skills and flent in English
