We are looking for a Project Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our Energy Innovation team.
Type of contract: Long term contract / Permanent
Place of work: Wiesbaden / Düsseldorf
Start date: As soon as possible (or by agreement)
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage R&D projects related to power cables, overhead lines, power grid technologies or electricity systems
- Facilitate communication between our company, TSOs (Transmission System Operators), DSOs (Distribution System Operators), and universities, ensuring smooth project execution
- Translate and interpret technical discussions in Japanese, English, and German, ensuring accurate communication of complex electrical concepts
- Ensure technical alignment between project stakeholders, resolving issues related to power transmission, grid infrastructure, and system integration
- Support documentation and reporting for project progress, technical specifications and research findings
- Monitor industry trends in power transmission, electrical infrastructure, and energy policies to support strategic decision-making
Skills and Experience
- Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical project coordination, power transmission, or energy-related fields
- Strong understanding of power cables, transformers, electricity transmission, grid systems, or renewable energy technologies
- Strong Project Coordination Skills and experience in managing cross-border collaborations between R&D teams, industry stakeholders, and academic institutions
- Experience working with TSOs, DSOs, or academic research institutions is desirable
- Knowledge of power grid infrastructure, HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) systems, and smart grids is an advantage
- Familiarity with technical standards and regulations in the electricity industry is a plus
- Fluent in English, Japanese, and German
