Your Role

Process Improvement and Re-engineering

• Map and re-engineer inbound, importation, exportation interface, goods receiving, and distribution master data processes.
• Identify bottlenecks, waste, handover gaps, recurring errors, and risks to service, quality, compliance, and inventory availability.
• Define standard work, process ownership, decision rights, controls, and handover requirements.
• Align physical, transactional, documentation, and data processes across the value chain.

Distribution Master Data Governance

• Establish governance for the creation, maintenance, review, and retirement of distribution master data.
• Coordinate data quality standards for materials, batches, shelf life, units of measure, storage and transport conditions, packaging, labeling, regulatory attributes, and distribution requirements.
• Define data ownership, approval workflows, change control, auditability, and escalation rules.
• Monitor data quality issues and ensure root causes are eliminated rather than repeatedly corrected operationally.
• Partner with business process owners, quality, regulatory or trade compliance, supply chain, IT, and relevant data owners.

Inbound, Trade Flow, and Receiving Governance

• Establish governance routines for shipment readiness, importation status, customs holds, documentation completeness, receiving readiness, and discrepancies.
• Monitor inbound delays, receiving lead time, documentation errors, customs disruptions, data defects, and operational impact.

Who You Are

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management, or a comparable field, or bring equivalent professional experience.
• You have 5 or more years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution operations, with direct ownership of at least two areas: inbound transportation, import/export operations, goods receiving/warehouse transactions, or master data management.
• You bring hands-on experience in master data governance (ownership models, change control, approval workflows, data quality monitoring) and have led cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
• You have collaborated with external logistics partners such as freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, or third-party logistics providers, and managed operational escalations.
• You have strong working knowledge of ERP logistics modules - SAP ECC/S4HANA (MM, WM/EWM, SD, GTS) or equivalent - including GxP-relevant distribution requirements such as batch traceability, cold chain, and handling of regulated goods.
• You are experienced in KPI design, dashboard development, and data-based performance reviews, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• You apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, or A3 within a lean operating environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, APICS CPIM/CSCP/CLTD, or formal data governance training (DAMA/CDMP) is a plus, as is prior experience in ERP transformation programs or control tower setups.
