Description

The candidate will help manage the day-to-day operation of a fully functioning Proteomics Core Facility, where they will routinely interact with external clients from academia and industry.  They will also work on a funded project that seeks to develop and use mass spectrometry-based proteomic platform to characterize the protein corona that forms around nanoparticles when introduced to a biological medium and in developing strategies to correlate the composition of the protein corona to the efficiency of the nanoparticles to selectively deliver cargo to the target cells.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biomedical engineering or in a related field.  The candidate should have experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics.  The candidate should have a strong interest in using mass spectrometry-based proteomics to characterize the protein corona.
