Description
The Senior Project Manager leads large-scale, multi-phase AV integration projects end-to-end.The role ensures delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality standards while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.
It coordinates all project activities in line with established project management processes and procedures.
This role will mainly be managing one of our clients in the Munich area.
Therefore we are looking for an individual who resides close to Munich and may commute to our client if necessary.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be overseeing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific large scale, multi-phased AV systems integration projects.
In addition, the Senior Project Manager will ensure projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.
You will be responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of the project, according to established AVI-SPL Project Management processes and procedures.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership - Lead large-scale, multi-phase AV integration projects from initiation to completion. Ensure delivery on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Project Planning - Develop and manage project schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation. Ensure all activities align with established processes.
- Stakeholder Coordination - Facilitate internal and external kick-off meetings. Act as the main point of contact for all project communication.
- Execution & Monitoring - Oversee daily project progress, manage site updates, and ensure timely issue resolution. Provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Financial & Change Management - Monitor project costs, identify risks, and manage change orders. Escalate issues impacting budget and profitability.
- Quality & Delivery - Ensure quality of work, support system testing and handover, and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve satisfaction targets.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
(Must-Have & Nice-to-Have)
- Project Management Experience - Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-phase projects in AV, construction, or technology (Must-Have). 5+ years in a similar role is preferred (Nice-to-Have).
- Certifications - PMP® or PRINCE2 certification required (Must-Have). AVIXA CTS and additional industry certifications are preferred (Nice-to-Have).
- Technical & Financial Expertise - Strong understanding of AV systems, installation processes, and project financials including cost, revenue, and margin (Must-Have).
- Leadership & Problem Solving - Demonstrated leadership skills, mentoring capability, and ability to solve complex project issues (Must-Have).
- Project Execution Skills - Ability to manage multiple projects, control budgets, interpret technical and contractual documents, and maintain attention to detail (Must-Have).
- Communication & Flexibility - Professional communication skills, willingness to travel, valid driver's license, and compliance readiness (Must-Have). Formal education in a related field and security clearances are a plus (Nice-to-Have).
