Job Summary:
The Mail Services & Facilities Supervisor (MSFS) oversees and facilitates day to day functions of mail services. This position manages the bank's Mail Center, mailroom employees, and mailroom vendor relationships. This role also handles supply management and facilities management for the bank, providing the bank's internal and external customers with good and timely facilities management service. This position also provides support to the Facilities & Property Management Officer on projects for the bank as directed by the Manager, Facilities & Property Management.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
Mail Services:Oversees the daily operation of the mail center and the mailroom employeesMonitors, evaluates, and directs the mailroom employeesManages relationships with the company's mail services vendors, including promoting, building and evaluating vendor relationshipsCommunicates on a regular basis to share information on any and all projectsSupply Management:Oversees the bank's supplies and coordinates with other Mail Services employees to ensure timely delivery of said suppliesManages relationships with the company's supply vendors, including office supplies and coffee suppliesFacilities:Oversees and manages work orders and small projects within the Ruan buildingAssists Facilities & Property Management Officer with any facilities related projects for the bank, when neededEnsures facilities are clean and functional to portray a professional image to the public and employeesEnsures a safe environment and removes hazards when identifiedParticipates as an active member of the bank's Evacuation Committee by attending all meetings and participating in the committee's training exercisesAssists in providing senior management with information on the condition of the bank's facilities, including helping with updated project listsPerforms other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
At least four years of previous mailroom and/or facilities experience requiredFour years of supervisory experience preferredTwo-year post-secondary degree/specialized study preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Ability to communicate with both internal and external bank customersKnowledge and understanding of Post Office rules and regulationsKnowledge of Postal mailing equipment
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Base Salary Range: $66,000 - $78,000 plus bonus
