Description
Rivers & Associates, Inc. is seeking a talented registered Landscape Architect with 5-10 years of experience to manage small to large-sized projects in our Greenville, NC office. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, strong design, visualization and graphic skills, project management, effective verbal communication and writing experience, be highly motivated and excel in a collaborative work environment with civil engineers, planners and surveyors. He or she should be able to investigate and propose solutions in all phases of the planning and design process.
LA / PM Position Qualifications:
Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a licensed professional (RLA)
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), with specialty preferred.
Demonstrated successful leadership / management experience.
Project management training preferred.
Experience in site design including grading, hardscape, planting and construction documentation, streetscapes, parks and recreation, revitalization, corridor studies required.
Advanced understanding of planning, programming and design principles and methods.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effective client relationship skills and capabilities to work with diverse teams of designers.
Ability to collaborate with and direct/coordinate work efforts of others in a team environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Microsoft Office Suite, Civil 3D a plus.
Marketing skills including preparing proposals for clients outlining scope of work, qualifications and quotes for services.
