Description
Shaun Finnie for Congress is seeking a Field Organizer to assist in the implementation of our
organizing and direct voter outreach program through November 2026. The Field Organizer will
work in close coordination with, and report directly to, the Field Director. This position will require
evening and weekend hours. Compensation for this position will be $4,000 per month and will
include a $500 health insurance stipend. The anticipated start date is July of 2026 and
employment will last through November of 2026. This is a full-time, in-person position based in
Texas’ 2nd Congressional District.
Requirements
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Work with the team to execute the field plan with clear goals, projections, and a path to victory
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers.
Update and maintain volunteer databases
Serve as a point of contact for volunteers and campaign supporters
Plan, coordinate, and staff organizing/field events
Communicate with volunteers about upcoming events
Develop and manage the delivery of voter contact materials
Regularly staff the candidate at field events and other political events in the district
Other responsibilities as assigned, based on the needs of the campaign.
Candidate Qualifications:
At least one full cycle (2+ years) of relevant campaign experience
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Strong organizational and time management skills
Extreme attention to detail
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
Ability and willingness to adapt and learn new skills quickly
Experience using Google Suite and VAN
Strong team culture and positive attitude
Ability to work in-person and work campaign hours
A valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, laptop and cell phone
Position Information:
Based In: The Woodlands, TX (Full-Time)
Salary: $4,000.00 per month
Healthcare Stipend: $500 per month
Length of Time: Through the 2026 General Election
