Description
Colt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure. Why we need this role
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering Colt's specialised Capital Markets products 'MarketPrizm' and 'PrizmNet' as quickly and efficiently as possible and in accordance with Colt-defined process, to either Clients or Internal Sponsors.
'MarketPrizm' is Colt's suite of co-located hosting-related services, including space and power typically in the same data centre as a Stock Exchange, market access (market data & order-entry), hardware procurement & deployment (network & application servers) and all related connectivity requirements.
'PrizmNet' is Colt's financial extranet, that provides one-to-one or one-to-many interconnectivity between data Providers like a Stock Exchange and Consuming clients.
The Project Manager will clarify the solution scope for each project or client order, determine what resource is required, procure all required services, arrange delivery, installation and testing, to the required cost, quality & agreed timescale. Delivery is completed once the solution details are fully documented and the solution is 'accepted' by the client or project sponsor. The order is then closed, which transfers responsibility to Colt's Service Assurance team for ongoing 'In-Life' Production support.
What you will do
• Plan & coordinate all necessary tasks to achieve the deliverable; to time, budget & quality
• Obtain appropriate resource to conduct the tasks
• Raise budget and procure all services
• Manage risks and issues and change management throughout the project life-cycle
• Track & report project progress, internally and externally to the client
• Resolve or escalate issues in a timely & appropriate manner
• Manage third-party relationships i.e. client, data centre, stock exchange, suppliers
• Complete all the solution documentation
• Transition the solution from Service Delivery to Service Assurance for production support
• Close the Order promptly, to generate Monthly Recurring Revenue and to trigger the client billing
• Recommend lessons learnt
