Assistant Project Manager - Infrastructure (Design)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Project Manager - Infrastructure to join our Design Team in Dubai. In this role, you will support the delivery of multiple complex infrastructure design projects, primarily focused on roads, highways, and utilities, for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will contribute to ensuring high standards of technical delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction across all projects. The position requires strong coordination skills, the ability to work within multidisciplinary design teams, and effective communication with stakeholders in a consultancy environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the development of project scope, schedules, and budgets for assigned engineering elements, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with approved targets.
• Track, document, and assist in managing changes in project scope.
• Assist in defining procurement requirements, schedules, and budgets for assigned packages, and monitor procurement progress.
• Coordinate with procurement and subcontract teams to support the tendering and bid process.
• Assist in coordinating interdisciplinary technical teams and allocating resources across project disciplines.
• Support the Project Manager in planning, directing, and managing technical, financial, and administrative project functions.
• Assist in identifying required technical resources and manpower for successful project delivery.
• Ensure that client requirements and project scope are properly communicated and met across all disciplines.
• Support the follow-up and closure of action items arising from meetings with clients and project teams.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation for clients and management.
• Collect, review, and distribute technical and contractual information to relevant project disciplines.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in infrastructure design and/or project management.
• Proven experience in delivering large-scale roads, highways, utilities, and mixed-use infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in consultancy and multidisciplinary design environments.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of technical, commercial, and contractual aspects of infrastructure project delivery.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of authority requirements, approvals processes, and infrastructure regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
