The Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Michigan (bme.umich.edu), a joint department between the College of Engineering and the Medical School, is seeking to fill a tenured/tenure-track faculty position at any rank in our College of Engineering track. In alignment with our departmental strategic vision, we are searching for outstanding researchers with expertise in AI and AI applied to biomedical engineering research areas. Successful applicants will also be expected to contribute to teaching AI in biomedical engineering.

Requirements

Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in engineering or other relevant science-related discipline and demonstrated excellence in and a commitment to teaching, research, and scholarship. M.D./Ph.D. candidates are also encouraged to apply.
