Company Overview

Trinchera is located in the center of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. Comprising approximately 172,000 acres, Trinchera is protected in perpetuity by conservation easements, held by both the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and Colorado Open Lands. Three 14,000-foot peaks are located on the property, and the acreage of Trinchera is part of the Sangre de Cristo Conservation Corridor. Spanning approximately 90 miles, this corridor is one of the most unique and consolidated networks for protected lands under public and private ownership in the United States. Over 800,000 acres stretch from Great Sand Dunes National Park into New Mexico. Trinchera operates with a shared responsibility to our guests and conservation. The intimate Trinchera lodge offers a range of accommodations that make it an ideal setting for small groups, including executive corporate retreats, weddings, and family reunions. Hospitality can provide customized itineraries and special meal arrangements. Activities include fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and wildlife viewing. The spa features two private massage rooms, as well as a sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub.
