Job Overview: The Stewardship Coordinator is responsible for providing stewardship touch points to recognize donors’ contributions and communicate the impact of their generosity. This role works closely with donor relationship managers to provide both standardized and customized stewardship to their portfolio of donors. This role is part time at 24 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of all agreed-upon stewardship actions for GOA donors
- Create customized stewardship communications, including thank-you notes, recognition books and plaques, lifetime giving cards and grant stories/impact updates that demonstrate the outcomes of philanthropic investments.
- Serve as the primary source for grant stories and photos for stewardship and other GOA communications – matching grant stories with donor preferences for grant type, geography, age of children and other parameters; ensure stories are responsibly sourced and written with respect and integrity and visual assets are high quality and appropriate.
- Partner with fundraising staff to identify unique stewardship opportunities for major donors and ensure timely, meaningful engagement throughout the donor lifecycle.
- Track stewardship activities and donor touchpoints within Donor Perfect and tracking spreadsheets, ensuring accurate records and adherence to organizational standards.
- Convene monthly stewardship touch base meetings with donor relationship managers to discuss and manage upcoming actions
- Use GOA’s AI assisted workflows and manage the story asset library in SharePoint

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
- 2-5 years of related experience, with preference for experience in non-profit development and knowledge of CRM systems
Compensation and Benefits
Gift of Adoption Fund offers a highly competitive compensation plan commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the individual selected. Our vacation, holiday, and leave of absence policies prioritize work-life balance for Gift of Adoption staff.
The hourly pay for this position is estimated in the range of $21 - $23 per hour based on the candidate’s experience. It is preferred that candidate live in the Great Lakes Region.
