Survey Project Manager - Energy

• Develop proposals
• Manage budgets
• Schedule workload
• Manage and coach staff
• Business development and client management
• Assist in developing strategies for Energy team
• Review of drawings, maps, reports and legal descriptions of surveys
• Review survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
• Provide direction and support for field staff in conducting surveys
• Oversee staff responsible for converting field survey data into CAD drawings
• Perform and/or provide professional oversight for survey calculations for property boundaries, easements, deeds, etc.
• Provide oversight for all aspects of field survey operations if needed
• Provide oversight and/or review for all aspects of preparation of drawings, plots, maps, easements, records and documents related to surveys for the Energy team
• Prepare and/or oversee written legal descriptions of property boundaries for use in deeds, easements or other legal documents
• Search or provide oversight of researching legal records, survey records, and land titles in order to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed
• Support and mentor survey staff

• Knowledge of survey laws in multiple states

• 3+ years’ experience in surveying
• Professional Survey License preferred or willing to get licensed within a year
  
  
  

• 20% local/regional travel
