Make a Difference in Multicultural Mental Health
The Multicultural Mental Health Coordinator (MMHC) delivers high level clinical services and leadership to improve outcomes for consumers from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds experiencing mental illness and/or substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate culturally responsive care within a consultation and liaison model.
- Provide evidence-based services including assessment, planning, psychoeducation, group programs, and brief interventions.
- Collaborate using advanced cross cultural communication skills with consumers, carers, interpreters, and cultural support staff.
- Exercise independent clinical decision making to contribute to complex multidisciplinary care.

What You’ll Need
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-level services and exercising independent clinical decision-making.
