Research Associate/Senior Research Associate, Compound Management

Today, we are delivering approved medicines directly to patients in the United States and Europe, and we are globally advancing multiple programs for genomically defined cancers, systemic mastocytosis, and cancer immunotherapy.

What will you do?

Blueprint Medicines is looking for a highly motivated individual to be a key contributor in the Compound Management Group. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for processing new compounds and inventory requests through the Compound Management workflows.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Manage the receipt, storage, and inventory of compounds and samples for biological assays.
  • Responsible to ensure all service level agreements are achieved daily.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing compound shipments to/from CROs, partners and collaborators.

What qualifications do we require?

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a compound management group.
  • The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of activities related to compound management processes, such as inventory management, solution production, quality control methodology, logistics management and service oriented practices.
  • Experience in the following instruments/systems is preferred: Hamilton Star, Hamilton SAM, BioMicroLab Volume Checker, Titian Mosaic

  • This is a service orientated position requiring attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team and interact routinely with the scientific staff at Blueprint.
  • Good personal and communication skills. The ability to work well within a team is a must, along with the ability to be responsive to research partners.
  • Individual must be self-motivated, well-organized, reliable, and able to prioritize workload.
