Position Details
Yale School of Medicine is recruiting a Senior Biostatistician/Research Scientist to join the Yale Cardiovascular Research Group (YCRG), a high-impact academic research organization providing methodological and regulatory leadership for cardiovascular clinical trials and registries, with a strong focus on FDA-regulated cardiovascular device studies.
This role provides senior statistical leadership for complex clinical investigations in structural heart disease, coronary, and peripheral vascular interventions, spanning trial design, Statistical Analysis Plans, regulatory submissions, and scientific reporting and publication. The position is a senior-level, faculty-embedded research role and is situated within Yale’s highly collaborative academic environment, offering the opportunity to work at the interface of biostatistics, clinical investigation, and translational science, advancing discoveries from early-phase evaluation through definitive clinical evidence. The position reports to the Medical Director of the Yale Cardiovascular Research Group.

Qualifications
Candidates should hold a PhD or ScD in Biostatistics (or a related quantitative discipline) with extensive experience in medical device clinical trials, FDA interactions, and advanced statistical methodologies.
