GENERAL OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the principal, the Associate Administrator provides instructional leadership by establishing, promoting, and supporting initiatives aligned with the District’s goal of “All Kids Achieving at High Levels.” The Associate Administrator supports the supervision of teaching and support staff and helps foster positive communication and collaboration within the school community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work collaboratively and effectively with staff, students, parents, and the broader community.
Participate in and support collaborative decision-making with staff.
Promote and maintain a positive, supportive learning environment.
Demonstrate skills in program development and effective instructional practices.
Support staff selection, supervision, and evaluation processes.
Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and oral forms.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
Support student attendance initiatives and assist with designated student discipline.
Help facilitate school activities and collaborate with ASB and athletic programs.
Provide supervision of students before school, during lunch periods, and after school as needed.
Serve as a member of the school leadership team and contribute to the school improvement process.
Assume the responsibilities of the principal in the principal’s absence when assigned.
Assist in the supervision of certificated and classified staff.
Support oversight of building and grounds operations, including scheduling facility use.
Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designee.
Requirements
The Associate Administrator contract includes:
200 days per year, 8 hours per day plus an activity stipend.
No other parts of the Principal's agreement apply.
Leaves include: 12 days sick leave, 4 days family illness, 4 days personal leave.
Salary range is based on 2025-2026 salary schedule. 2026-2027 Salary is
currently being negotiated.
