Description
The University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy invites qualified applicants to apply for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as the Regional Coordinator, LA/Long Beach in the rank of Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.The LA/Long Beach Regional Coordinator is responsible for the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) program in the LA/Long Beach region.
Strong background in ambulatory or acute care pharmacy practice and effective interpersonal communication skills are required.In addition to teaching, service on departmental, school and university committees is expected. Scholarly activity is not required in this position, but it is encouraged.A Pharm.D. degree with a PGY1 residency or fellowship, or equivalent practice experience, is required.Licensed or eligible for licensure in California; must obtain licensure within one year of hire.
