As a core member of our Valuations and Profit & Loss (VPL) team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your Role:
The Supervisor in the Global VPL group is responsible for assisting the Manager in supervising the day-to-day activities of a team of analysts. The Supervisor will review the work performed by analysts to ensure that agreed procedures are followed, service level agreements are met and the deliverables are of high quality and accuracy. Our clients demand the highest standards of execution and your role will be key in achieving this by maintaining a focus on training and development of staff and high attention to details.
- You will supervise a team of analysts and review their day-to-day deliverables, such as:
- Security pricing,
- Performance (P&L) reporting
- Independent price verification (IPV)
- Other ad-hoc client or management requests
- Ensure timely completion of client deliverables
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures
- Handle client requests and queries competently
- Liaise and collaborate with various other Citco departments such as Fund Accounting, Reconciliations, Client Integration, Market Data, Application Support and other local/global management
- Other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
About You:
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- A completion or a near-completion of a post-graduate programs such as CFA, MBA, Master in Finance or similar programs is an asset
- 3+ years of experience in financial services, with a preference for experience in portfolio valuation, performance reporting, risk and/or middle office operations
- Knowledge of financial instruments such as fixed income, OTC derivatives, bank debts and private equity preferred
- Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
