Job PurposeJob Purpose
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful delivery of client projects while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role oversees day-to-day project activities to ensure timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. The position also supports client relationships, resolves escalations, and contributes to account growth and process improvements for assigned clients.

Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of localization projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Oversee day-to-day project activities, coordinating with internal teams such as Language Delivery, Technical Services, and Quality Assurance.
- Maintain strong client relationships by responding to requests, addressing escalations, and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Define and monitor account performance metrics and provide regular KPI reports to stakeholders.
- Identify, communicate, and manage project risks to prevent delays or delivery issues.
- Coordinate resources and work closely with Supply Chain and external vendors to ensure projects are properly staffed.
- Support quotation preparation and approve project budgets and financial elements, including reviewing project Profit & Loss reports.
- Lead post-mortem reviews and root cause analysis to improve processes and reduce future risks.
- Collaborate with Account Management and Business Development teams to support account growth and identify opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members and help allocate workloads across the project team when required.
Skills & Experience
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and coordinate competing demands.
- Strong client service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions.
- High attention to detail and strong focus on quality.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with translation management tools such as TRADOS or other CAT tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Languages, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Typically 5+ years of experience coordinating complex projects within the localization or translation industry.
- Customer service or account management experience, ideally within the translation or localization industry.
- Leadership or mentoring experience is desirable.
- PMP certification and knowledge of a foreign language are considered an advantage.
