Description
The Lexington Rescue Mission (LRM) is seeking a full-time Resource Coordinator (RC) at 40/hours a week. LRM is a Christ centered nonprofit that strives to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of hurting people in the greater Lexington area. The Resource Coordinator works directly with clients, meeting with them to assess their needs, care for them, and serve them through Resource Assistance and walk-ins. The RC provides holistic case management and care, assessing their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. Creating a case plan with client led goals, supporting holistic growth. The RC builds relationships with other nonprofits to assist in a smooth referral process.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in Social Work or related field
- Direct service experience in social work or human services
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, empathy, and compassion
- Capacity to be flexible and handle conflict
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities and/or mental illness
- Ability to maintain clients' privacy and confidentiality
- Spiritually mature
- Computer skills and internet literacy
- Spanish fluency preferred
- Push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs.
