ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a purchasing administrator who will ?oversee replenishment of stock and non-stock purchases. You will collaborate with your assigned CertaSite branch locations to help ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained in the stockroom and materials are ordered timely for jobs. This is a fast-paced and demanding role with high visibility within the company.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Purchases supplies, materials, and parts for the company based on already assigned vendors
- Maintains knowledge of trends, prices, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability; directs purchasing programs accordingly
- Create, review, and submit purchase orders
- Communicates with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale
- Purchases large and complex items with help from the branch leadership
- Other projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree with a focus on supply chain or a related field or equivalent education and work history
- 1-2 years of buying, purchasing, or warehouse management experience
IDEAL QUALITIES
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2 + years of experience in a service industry or building trades
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Impeccable organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: available for occasional business travel, which may include nights and weekends, physical requirements may include, but are not limited to: climbing up or down ladders, occasional lifting up to 50lbs, stairs, scaffolding, ramps and the like; remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods; moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another; moving in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces; and general office duties including use of a computer
