Job Summary/Description:

Eastern Carolina's #1 news station, WITN News, is seeking a skilled Promotions Coordinator. The Promotions Coordinator will develop and produce creative concepts that support the stations news and weather brand image. This position will fufill a variety of multimedia functions which include shooting, editing video, writing and conceptualizing creative station promotions and other station projects. Candidate should have a strong eye for production value, and truly enjoy creative thinking and visual problem solving.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Protect and improve the stations brand image at all customers touch points
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under deadline
• Produce on-air News and Weather promotions and client commercials
• Event organization and set-up
• Work closly with the news department and station talent
• The qualified candidate will take projects from concept through completion

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1-2 years video production experience and a college degree preferred
• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Professional shooting skills with digital, or ENG style cameras and lighting equipment
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to most situations
• Self-starter skills
• Clean driving records, motor vehicle check will be run
