Description
Project Safety Manager
As our Project Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with all regulatory, company, and sitespecific health and safety standards across our commercial construction projects. In this role, you will lead field safety efforts, conduct inspections, support planning and hazard mitigation, document compliance activities, and work closely with project teams to maintain safe, wellcontrolled job sites.
You will partner with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and owners to identify risks, develop corrective actions, deliver safety training, and support the implementation of safety plans tailored to diverse project conditions. This role requires strong communication, situational awareness, and the ability to influence safe behaviors in dynamic field environments.
Experienced Project Safety Managers may support multiple projects, lead safety audits, mentor field staff, contribute to corporate safety initiatives, and support continuous improvement in the companys safety culture.

Your Background
- Previous experience as a safety manager, safety coordinator, or equivalent role in construction.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, highrisk operations, and industryspecific hazards.
- OSHA 510 required; OSHA 500/502 preferred.
- Safety certifications (CSP, CHST, CSHO, etc.) preferred.
- Experience conducting field inspections, audits, incident investigations, and safety training.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work across multiple job sites and adapt to changing field conditions.
- Bachelors degree in occupational health and safety or related field is a plus.
