- Project Manager/Estimator-Industrial Coatings
Description
The Coatings Project Manager/Estimator oversees industrial coatings projects from estimation through execution and closeout. This role requires deep knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, and application techniques. The successful candidate will manage field teams, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and customer relationships, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Industrial Coatings, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in coatings project management or industrial painting.
In-depth understanding of coatings systems (e.g., epoxies, polyurethanes, zinc-rich primers).
Familiarity with surface prep standards (e.g., SSPC-SP10, SP6) and inspection criteria.
Strong estimating skills and experience with coating takeoffs and spec interpretation.
Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
Proficient in project management software and basic office applications.
Certifications such as NACE Level I/II or SSPC QP/PCI preferred.

Work Environment
This role requires frequent travel to job sites and occasional overnight stays. The position involves a mix of field supervision and office-based planning and coordination.
