Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Project Management function, leading the end-to-end delivery of solutions across the LEA Reply suite. With a foundational background in Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations, you will bring structure, operational expertise, and credibility to every engagement, ensuring projects are delivered to time, budget, and quality standards. You will work closely with customer project teams, facilitating design workshops, supporting programme success, and guiding teams through the Design, Build, Test, and Deploy phases. This role requires a balance of confident leadership and collaboration, promoting a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational readiness for a seamless transition into business-as-usual. Your contractual place of work will be either our London or Manchester office with a hybrid working policy.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle across the Design, Build, Test, and Deploy phases, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain structured project plans, RAID logs, change control processes, and status reports for clear governance and proactive risk mitigation.
- Lead stakeholder alignment by chairing governance forums, facilitating decision-making, managing escalation paths, and building strong relationships with customer sponsors, SMEs, and IT leads.
- Collaborate with customer project managers to plan and support customer-led activities such as UAT, operational readiness, data preparation, and business change.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams-including functional consulting, technical architecture, software engineering, and support teams-to drive project momentum and resolve blockers efficiently.
- Lead cutover planning, oversee go-live execution, and ensure a stable transition through hypercare into business-as-usual support.
- Monitor project performance, manage resource allocation, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices for future project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects independently.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling, milestone control, RAID management, phase-gate governance, and agile sprint coordination.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, requirements clarification, and change control, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Technical understanding of software implementation lifecycles, warehouse and supply chain execution processes, as well as integration, testing, and release management.
- Proficiency with project delivery and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence; able to interpret solution designs, process flows, and technical impacts.
- Commercial acumen in budget planning, scope and change request management, SaaS delivery models, and supporting business case justification.
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements, team collaboration, or project delivery, with excellent communication and mentoring skills to support and develop junior colleagues.
