Our client, a prestigious investment bank is looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join their first-rate team. The role is multi-year ongoing and there is a possibility to convert to FTE over time.

• Initially working on regional / global, VDI Desktop builds and migration projects
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and objectives
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies, proactively communicating and resolving challenges
• Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular status updates to key stakeholders
• Ensure project deliverables and outcomes meet or exceed quality and performance standards
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process optimisations
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an IT infrastructure project manager, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• More senior candidates will be considered for a lead role.
• Track record of regional build outs inc. trading floor / middle & back office
• Experienced with VDI Desktop builds and migration
• Extensive banking industry experience
• Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder IT infrastructure projects
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute detailed project plans
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
• In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and best practices
• Proficient in the use of project management tools and methodologies
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
