*Project Manager Sr - Growth Initiatives* *Job Summary* The *Senior Project Manager - Growth Initiatives* leads complex, high-impact projects that support the strategic growth priorities of Baylor Scott & White Health. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting the organization's high standards for quality and operational excellence. As part of the *Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)*, this position helps mobilize cross-functional teams to execute enterprise-wide strategic initiatives using standardized methodologies for project management, problem solving, and continuous improvement. Initial projects will support the organization's Growth portfolio, including acquisitions, new construction, and major expansion projects with an initial focus on Heart Hospital initiatives. This leader manages projects from *early ideation through operational activation and integration*, ensuring alignment across clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders. The Senior Project Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy, engages in senior leadership, and serves as a *trusted advisor who synthesizes complex information, communicates risks transparently, and drives successful outcomes across complex business environments*, including joint ventures, physician partnerships, and third-party vendor relationships. *Essential Functions of the Role* * Lead complex strategic initiatives that support the organization's growth strategy, including acquisitions, construction projects, and operational integration efforts. * Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements to achieve business goals while maintaining quality, compliance, and organizational standards. * Develop comprehensive project plans including communication strategies, reporting frameworks, and quality control measures. * Establish clear project charters outlining roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and accountability structures for project teams. * Mobilize and lead cross-functional teams across clinical, operational, financial, and administrative areas to achieve project objectives. * Manage projects across the full lifecycle, from concept development and business case creation through execution, operational activation, and integration. * Prepare and present project proposals, business cases, and status updates to executive leadership, ensuring alignment on scope, priorities, and outcomes. * Identify project activities, required skillsets, and time commitments needed from team members and departments. * Negotiate and secure necessary resources and executive sponsorship to support successful project completion. * Monitor project performance, risks, and financial impact while ensuring deliverables are achieved on schedule and within budget. * Establish reporting structures, dashboards, and communication tools to keep stakeholders informed on project progress, risks, milestones, and outcomes. * Proactively identify project risks, assess potential impacts, and develop mitigation strategies while escalating critical issues as appropriate. * Coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives and workstreams while maintaining alignment with broader organizational priorities. * Remove barriers to project success by facilitating collaboration, problem solving, and decision-making across departments. * Mentor project participants and contribute to the professional development of team members involved in project work. * Perform other duties as assigned in a professional, collaborative, and service-oriented manner. *Key Success Factors* * Demonstrates a *servant leadership mindset* and strong personal integrity aligned with Baylor Scott & White Health's mission and values. * Strong *executive presence* with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, physicians, and key stakeholders. * Ability to *synthesize complex information* and translate it into clear insights, risks, and actionable recommendations. * Acts as a *trusted advisor* who objectively communicates project implications, risks, and strategic considerations. * Exceptional ability to *manage competing priorities and multiple high-impact workstreams simultaneously*. * Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect stakeholders across disciplines and departments at the appropriate stages of each project. * Proven ability to *mobilize cross-functional teams* and guide them toward shared objectives. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify issues, evaluate risk impact, and prioritize solutions. * Ability to influence stakeholders using business rationale, data, and strategic insight. * Skilled at presenting complex concepts and project outcomes to multiple levels of leadership in a professional and concise manner. * High degree of *mental agility and adaptability* to lead diverse and complex projects in a fast-paced environment. *Qualifications* *Education* * Bachelor's degree required * Master's degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field) *Experience* * 7+ years of project management experience, preferably within healthcare or a complex enterprise environment * Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders * Experience working within complex business structures such as joint ventures, physician partnerships, or vendor collaborations preferred * Experience supporting growth initiatives such as acquisitions, facility expansion, or new program launches preferred *Certification* * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred About Us Here at Baylor Scott & White Health we promote the well-being of all individuals, families, and communities.
