Overview:
Our clients is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead innovative projects in the battery and automotive sector, focusing on OBC and DC/DC converter development. This role involves managing global and customer-facing projects, ensuring collaboration across international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from Statement of Direction (SOD) to Start of Production (SOP).
• Drive product and mechatronic system development within budget and timelines.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal/external teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven project management experience in automotive projects (SOD to SOP).
• Knowledge of electronic or mechatronic system development (OBC/DC converter experience preferred).
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Japanese (business-level/native) and English (business-level).
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Willingness to travel internationally.
