Description
OverviewCommand Group is seeking experienced and highly organized Project Managers to lead and coordinate complex defense, security, and government modernization programs across the Gulf region.
Our engagements support senior government and institutional clients on strategic planning, organizational transformation, and capability development. Project Managers serve as the connective tissue of the project - integrating analysis, operations, and delivery - to ensure high-quality results that meet Command's standards of excellence.
Ideal candidates bring a background in management consulting, public-sector transformation, or large-scale project execution, coupled with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. The role requires judgment, initiative, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced, cross-cultural environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Coordination
- Manage day-to-day execution of one or more project workstreams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client priorities.
 - Coordinate the efforts of consulting associates, subject-matter experts, and design teams to deliver coherent, integrated outputs.
 - Maintain the project plan, track progress against milestones, and proactively manage risks or dependencies.
 
- Serve as a point of contact for client representatives and key stakeholders.
 - Prepare and lead briefings, workshops, and status updates with senior government officials.
 - Build and sustain trusted relationships with clients, fostering collaboration and transparency.
 
- Guide analytical work to ensure it aligns with overall project objectives and client needs.
 - Review research and deliverables to ensure findings are accurate, relevant, and strategically meaningful.
 - Translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
 
- Oversee production of high-quality, visually rich deliverables - reports, briefings, dashboards, and presentations - that tell a clear strategic story.
 - Ensure all outputs reflect Command's standards of excellence in clarity, structure, and design.
 - Provide coaching and feedback to team members on content development and presentation.
 
- Supervise and mentor associates and analysts, fostering professional growth and team cohesion.
 - Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
 - Identify resource needs and support project staffing and onboarding.
 
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, public policy, international relations, economics, or related field.
 - 8-15 years of professional experience in management consulting, government transformation, or complex project management.
 - Proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams and client relationships in high-stakes environments.
 - Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills; ability to produce and oversee polished, executive-level deliverables.
 - Familiarity with defense, national security, or institutional reform programs preferred.
 - International experience - especially in the Gulf region - strongly valued.
 
- Strategic and operational thinker with exceptional organizational skills.
 - Strong leader who drives accountability, collaboration, and clarity.
 - Excellent communicator - written, visual, and verbal - adept at crafting narratives and managing stakeholders.
 - Adaptable and comfortable managing complexity in dynamic, cross-cultural contexts.
 - Professional integrity and discretion in sensitive or confidential settings.
 
- Base: Abu Dhabi or Dubai
 - Travel: Regional or international travel as required for client engagements.
