Job Summary The Project Manager 1 organizes and leads teams for small to moderately complex projects. They ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and goals. This includes managing the project scope, timeline, budget, and resources. They also provide leadership and guidance to team members. Essential Functions of the Role * Provides day-to-day administrative support to department leadership and team members. * Leads team huddles and communicates updates, priorities, and operational changes. * Manages and tracks Information Systems (IS) tickets and department service requests to ensure timely resolution. * Coordinates ordering, inventory, and distribution of departmental supplies and equipment. * Maintains calendars, meeting logistics, documentation, and department records. * Develops project plans to ensure feasibility of project with proper resourcing and effective change management. * Establishes project deliverables and timeframes and holds project team accountable for completion, keeping in mind both short-term and long-term goals. * Establishes clear project charter, team roles, responsibilities and accountabilities to ensure success of project. * Prepares and presents project scope document and achieves agreement on project parameters and goals. * Receives approvals at each phase of project. * Participates in feasibility studies, business planning, and benefit review studies. Ensures cost, benefit, and risk elements are identified and considered. * Collaborates with other departments to obtain needed resources to complete projects within expectations and timeframes. * Manages small scale and moderately complex projects to ensure quality and timely achievement of project deliverables and goals. * Prepares and maintains project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets and status reports. * Communicates task assignments and due dates in a clear, professional and timely manner. * Manages work plan and project tasks to meet committed time frames and project milestones. * Monitors project status, resolves risks, issues, and action items promptly. Escalates to leadership for support when needed. * Facilitates team meetings to discuss project progress (daily stand-ups if using Agile methodology). * Serves as a contact to senior management and key stakeholders to report project progress and to assist with problem resolution. * Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success. * Maintains business operations and applications knowledge level to provide required information as needed. Key Success Factors * Bachelor's degree in preferred * Experience with project management tools * Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills * Aptitude for quickly understanding and documenting new processes and technical concepts * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the project team and stakeholders * Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking * Ability to balance demands and response to time constraints * Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and collaboration tools Belonging Statement We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported. *QUALIFICATIONS* * EDUCATION - H.S.
