Position Summary:
The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement procedures, systems, and reports which address project status and forecasts. Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the project schedule using the Critical Path Method (CPM) as well as linear scheduling techniques. Oversight and final preparation of the monthly pay application for submission to the client. Assist in preparation and maintenance of the project Schedule of Values. Manage subcontractor contracts and payments, and payment applications to the client. Interface with client management and coordinate project control with other related programs. Manage labor reporting for the project. Prepare monthly project cash flow analysis. Manage the procurement schedule for the project. Work with management on planning, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety and coordination of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff Participate in project decisions regarding cost and schedule. Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc. Ability to relocate as needed
- Expert ability with Primavera P6 scheduling software. Expert ability to prepare construction project cost reports and forecasting. Extensive knowledge of construction accounting techniques. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills. Problem solving skills. Decision making skills. Effective listening skills. Negotiation skills. Attention to detail . Effective written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required 10 years experience with construction contractor required
