Role Description

• Indra is the central program driving the introduction and safe scaling of AI at DB. Focus is to identify AI potential across various banking operations, driving funded use cases into production to create value and confidence and scale across the bank, creating selected shared services with embedded safety to enable low cost scale, developing an AI Workbench for developers for safe AI development at pace, and introducing AI controls whilst aiming to maintain time to market.
• As a member of AI Cost and Value team, you will support the development of frameworks to measure AI cost and productivity, track adoption, and assess return on investment (ROI) for AI products. You will work closely with business units, finance teams, and senior stakeholders to enhance transparency around AI consumption, costs, and benefits.

Your key responsibilities

• Track cost of running AI for various IT products including infrastructure technology, Cloud and app support cost
• Assist in developing and implementing a framework to measure AI value, focusing on productivity and efficiency gains.
• Work with team leads in collaborating with business units to enhance their understanding of AI-driven ROI and financial impact.
• Support the AI Book of Work (BoW) by tracking AI funding allocation, consumption, and realized benefits.
• Work on dashboards to track AI adoption, consumption, and cost trends, ensuring transparency.
• Contribute and assist in defining and monitoring AI productivity metrics and assist in reporting AI-driven efficiency improvements.
• Track and report productivity delivered through AI services.
• Work with finance and reporting teams to ensure AI-related costs and benefits are integrated into financial models.
• Analyze AI cost drivers and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain high-quality end-to-end financial reporting and analytical services across all aspects of the AI & ML portfolio

Your skills and experience

• 4-8 years of experience in strategic cost analysis, technology cost measurement, and financial reporting.
• Strong exposure to financial services or other regulated industries.
• Experience in productivity tracking, AI-driven efficiency analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Working knowledge of data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in AI cost-benefit analysis.
• Knowledge of AI/ML product adoption and business impact measurement.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
• Preferred- MBA Finance/ Chartered Accountant
