Postdoctoral Research Associate

The Physics department at Princeton University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position or more senior researcher in astroparticle theory with Prof. Mariangela Lisanti at Princeton University. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics, astrophysics, or a closely related field by the start of the position. The position is expected to start in September 2026 (exact date negotiable).

The ideal candidate will demonstrate in their application:

-Experience working on astrophysical probes (broadly defined) of dark matter
-A record of research independence, accomplishment, and creativity
-Mentorship experience and/or experience working on a team

The term of appointment is based on rank. Positions at the postdoctoral rank are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding; those hired at more senior ranks may have multi-year appointments. Expected Salary Range: Salary begins at $65,000/year and will be commensurate with experience.

The posted salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate for a full-time position; salaries for part-time positions are pro-rated accordingly.
