This position is at the Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC), a multi-disciplinary center for research to advance the science of learning by bringing together leading researchers in the cognitive, social, and educational sciences.
The Learning Research and Development Center at the University of Pittsburgh announces a position for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate. The position will be fully funded internally. We seek an individual with an extensive background in psycholinguistics and specific research interests in bilingualism and adult second language learning. The candidate should have expertise in experimental design, programming, and data collection from human participants. Additional expertise in data collection and analysis with event-related brain potentials is also desired. The candidate should also have a demonstrated track record of scholarly research and an interest in conducting research working with adult language users.
The person filling this position will complement the current strengths of the Learning Research and Development Center and partnerships with other units. Eligible candidates will have a minimum of a Ph.D. in psychology with a specialization in psycholinguistics.
