Professional opportunity for an ophthalmic surgery coordinator to join an established, premier Ophthalmology comprehensive eye care practice in Beverly Hills, California.
This state-of-the-art, high-tech, MD/OD practice is dedicated to delivering high quality optical, medical, and surgical eye care to our patients. The practice consists of one Ophthalmologist who works closely with the Optometrists, who are supported by an outstanding staff of ophthalmic technicians, highly skilled opticians, and administrative support staff. This is a dynamic environment which enables qualified candidates to utilize their clinical expertise, training, and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional and compassionate patient care.
Surgery scheduling requires exceptional skills both in administrative tasks and patient interactions. The position requires interactions with the surgeon, patients, technical staff, the surgery center, physician offices, insurance companies and patient family members. Attention to detail is extremely important. There are opportunities to grow and be active in billing, compliance issues and overall office administration if desired.
We offer a competitive base salary. Additional benefits include fully paid medical insurance premiums, paid personal time off including paid additional holidays, and paid parking. The practice is open Monday through Friday. This is a full-time position.
The practice has state of the art technology including OCT, Optos, Visual fields, Topography, Zeiss iScription, Lipiflow and dry eye diagnostic testing. All surgeries are performed at a world renowned surgery center.
