The Mid-level Analyst / Project Control Specialist role is responsible for the Performance Solutions Division Project Operations Team in working to support our Project Leads and senior leadership in the planning, execution and mission achievement in a bounded agile environment with a portfolio of project ranging from the very small to large. Additionally, this role provides target analytic and control support for projects and Antech's Performance Solutions Division business needs. This position is open to candidates at all CONUS locations (remote work) but is best supported by someone able to work at a combination of Antech's Pine Hill Office and NAWCAD WOLF's Webster Field location at least 2 days a week and able to come into site visit/meetings with less than 2 hours' notice on other days. Candidates within 80 miles of Lexington Park, Maryland, and able to support this requirement will be given credit for this work support advantage in assessing their qualifications.
For this position applicants must have at least one of the following combinations of experience and education:
- a bachelor's degree which you can explain how it supports the requirements of the tasking and provides foundational skills with at least 5 years of relevant experience,
- an associate's degree in a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience,
- a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Agile project management, including but not limited to Scrum Master and Google Agile Project Management, along with industry recognized project management certifications such as those from PMI will be seen as an advantage in the selection process and may be substituted for up to 2 years of the required experience.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens eligible to obtain a security clearance. Active security clearance is a plus. This position may require occasional non-local travel, up to approximately 10% of the time, so candidates must be able to travel for periods of up to one week as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities - Administrative Duties under the direction of a senior lead in our Project Management Operations Department and other senior members of the Team based on tasking and areas of coordination.
Tools & Work Environment
This role operates in a highly collaborative team environment where documentation evolves alongside system development and operational processes, requiring frequent coordination with both technical and non-technical team members. Candidates in this role will regularly work with the following tools, platforms, and documentation practices:
- Microsoft Excel for financial tracking, burn rate analysis, staffing models, and program reporting.
- Microsoft PowerPoint for program briefings and leadership updates.
- Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar scheduling tools for tracking project timelines and milestones.
- SharePoint or collaboration platforms for program document management and reporting.
- Program workflow or contract management tools through systems application and implementation systems.
- Agile program tools (e.g., Jira dashboards, backlog reporting) used to align program financial and schedule insight with technical delivery progress.
- Collaboration with technical teams, documentation specialists, analysts, and program leadership to maintain a shared understanding of program performance and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and analyze program financial performance, including labor utilization, burn rates, and funding status.
- Support program planning and forecasting, including labor projections and resource planning aligned with program needs.
- Monitor cost, schedule, and scope performance across one or more projects or task orders.
- Develop and maintain program performance reports and dashboards for internal leadership and government stakeholders.
- Coordinate with program managers, technical leads, and finance teams to ensure program data is accurate and current.
- Support preparation of contract deliverables and reporting requirements, including financial status and performance metrics.
- Assist with budget tracking, funding allocations, and reconciliation activities.
- Identify potential cost or schedule risks and assist leadership in evaluating mitigation strategies.
- Support program leadership during planning cycles, contract modifications, and funding updates.
- Maintain tracking artifacts such as program schedules, staffing plans, and financial trackers.
- Provide coordination support between technical teams and program leadership to ensure program activities align with contractual commitments.
- Facilitate documentation capture sessions with subject matter experts to translate working knowledge into structured documentation.
- Support the full life cycle of documentation, including initial drafting, review cycles, updates, and version maintenance.
- Maintain iterative documentation aligned with Agile sprints, updating user guides, SOPs, and operational documentation as features evolve and participating in sprint reviews to ensure documentation reflects current system capabilities.
- Ensure key identified documents are effectively and efficiently transferred to the designated Government repositories with all required and useful metadata for point in time snapshotting/versions.

- Strong professional judgment in balancing program execution needs with contractual and financial requirements.
- Comfort operating in dynamic Agile or DevSecOps delivery environments where project priorities and releases evolve iteratively.
- Ability to translate complex financial or program data into clear visual or written reporting for leadership decision-making.
- Self-directed and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve project tracking and reporting processes.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate technical discussions into clear, well-structured documentation.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to engage a wide variety of personalities and professional backgrounds in a supportive role
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to maintain consistency across complex document sets, revisions, and templates.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently while maintaining strong coordination with the broader team.
Experience Requirements
Required
- 510+ years of experience in project control, program analysis, financial tracking, or program management support.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, and financial tracking spreadsheets.
- Experience supporting program financial tracking, budgeting, or forecasting activities.
- Experience preparing program reports or dashboards for leadership or government stakeholders.
- Experience working in collaborative environments with technical teams and program leadership.
- Experience monitoring and applying project performance metrics
- Familiarity with program management and/or automated analytic tools (e.g. Jira reporting, Power BI, AI agentic flows, or similar).
- Demonstrated proficiency with additional Microsoft Office Suite tools
Desired
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs.
- Familiarity with portfolio, program, and project performance metrics development, monitoring, and tiered integration.
- Experience with resource planning and labor forecasting.
- Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps program environments.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Atlassian (Confluence/Jira) as document collaboration platforms.
- Exposure to IT systems, software development, training development, or system engineering environments.
- Experience developing processes and aligning them to operational needs in both a cross-project supportive and project tailored way.
Salary Range: Salaried at $68,000 - $90,300- Antech applies several factors to determine each individual's appropriate salary component in their compensation package, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific elements and broader organizational requirements. The range displayed represents the overall expected salary range for this position and is just one component of Antech's total compensation package for employees.
