About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our Beverly Hills office in a hybrid capacity (after an initial training period, we offer 3 days onsite/2 days remote). This is a high-visibility, high-responsibility role that works in close collaboration with Jonathan Fitzgarrald, Managing Partner at Equinox Strategy Partners, to advance the firm's marketing and business development initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will play a central role in shaping and executing the firm's marketing strategy, and will provide direction to an onsite Marketing Assistant to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
This position is ideal for a proactive marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, enjoys building relationships across all levels of an organization, and is eager to take ownership of meaningful, firm-wide initiatives.
Essential Job Duties
1. Assist with executing the firm’s marketing strategy consistent with the firm’s strategic business plan. Work with individual attorneys, practice group chairs and the Executive Director on annual business development plans and budgets.
2. Provide direction and support for firm events, including but not limited to monthly attorney social events, in-office virtual professional training events, conference sponsorships, regional client entertainment and receptions, including invitation list development and invitation mailing, tracking RSVPs, organizing registration, preparing name tags, greeting attendees upon arrival, being accessible to address guests’ needs, preparing materials and reserving necessary equipment and facilities.
3. Manage the firm’s website and social networking channels including content (e.g., LinkedIn, X, etc.), and other electronic communications, including drafting and updating content and images. Must be able to use design software such as Canva.
4. Assist with business/client development opportunities, client educational programs, seminar and speaking opportunities, public relations initiatives and sponsorship opportunities in the local and regional legal/business communities.
5. Assist with the identification, planning and execution of cross-marketing opportunities with existing firm clients. Conduct and coordinate research on identified new business targets and assist in developing tailored strategies, approaches and materials for effective business development efforts.
6. Prepare marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations, for current and prospective clients, often with quick turnaround times.
7. Work with attorneys and vendors to design, print, and generate advertising and business development materials including books, brochures, firm and attorney profiles, practice group descriptions, and electronic newsletters.
8. Update and maintain firm marketing materials of attorney bios, firm practice area descriptions, firm brochures and attorney presentations.
Requirements
The candidate should have a B.A./B.S. Degree or an AA Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related Business or equivalent degree. Must have 2-5 years of marketing experience; preferably within a mid/large size law firm or professional services firm. The candidate must have a professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to interact with Attorneys at all levels, the Executive Director, staff and vendors. Must be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines while remaining flexible to new business needs as they arise.
