We're hiring a Loan Servicing Supervisor to join our Loan Operations Team in Souderton.
Responsibilities
Supervise all aspects of the Loan Operations department including, loan servicing, document scanning/retention and quality control initiatives
Accountable for interpreting and translating complex loan documents to the JH operation system, including CIF input, loan master record, AFT setup, FASB fee and cost records, and input manually or via software (Encompass/NxtSoft and Meridian Link)
Coordinate and assist with all servicing tasks such as loan exception reports, monetary adjustments, loan account maintenance, loan verification, payoff letters, consumer loan insurance, loan extensions and modifications, deferrals, forbearances, fee waivers, interest accruals and billing calculations.
Perform and assist with all daily loan settlements and exception handling processes
Implement and monitor all quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage the group email, salesforce queues, and telephone hunt group for timely replies to lender, customer, and financial institution inquiries regarding servicing issues for commercial, consumer and residential mortgage loans
Monitor and assist the tracking, scanning, and verification of documents to the Synergy Imaging System
Oversee all Vault activities including storage and tracking of current loan files, removal/archiving of closed loan files, satisfying all requests for documents/files, resolving documentation issues, maintain organization ensuring security and accessibility.
Accountable for all consumer loan staff including completion and/or oversight of monthly one on ones and the full review process of establishing performance expectations (goals), and the completion and delivery of evaluations.
Provide ongoing and timely mentoring, coaching, feedback and training.
Promote teamwork to ensure work is performed in a collective manner and standards for performance are achieved.
Prioritizes work assignments and projects in alignment with bank and department goals.
Develop and maintain strong partnerships across all lines of business: commercial, consumer and mortgage lending, branch network, risk management, compliance and audit.
Ensure audit and regulatory compliance by reducing risk and maintaining satisfactory audits year over year.
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience or equivalent related education and experience
Previous supervisory experience in loan servicing of consumer, commercial, and mortgage loan products, investor accounting, customer service and system administration
Successful track record managing diverse teams with strong initiative and coaching skills; ability to motivate and develop employees
Excellent organization, project management, problem-solving, decision making and team building skills
Must be able to multi-task with frequent interruptions; be comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment; and manage multiple projects to a conclusion on time
Excellent oral and written communication skills required to interact with employees, peers, and internal/external customers; establish goals; direct and evaluate staff; prepare reports and make recommendations
Comprehensive understanding of bank accounting practices, GL reconciliation (including FASB), loan accounting computations and bank operations
Extensive experience with a loan accounting system is a must. Prior experience with Jack Henry Silverlake and Synergy technology preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Wage Range:
The salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $96,000
