Description:
Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Decision Support Administrator for our client located in Tallahassee, FL.
This position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1.
Job Overview:
Our client is looking for a candidate to support the Division with a focus on leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to strengthen data-driven decision-making. This effort will result in streamlined operations, enhanced reporting capabilities and improved operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- 0 to 1 year of related experience in business intelligence platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau.
- Experience supporting end users in querying databases and generating reports using Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) and Business Intelligence platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing OLAP data structures and collections to support custom queries and reporting.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise databases and associated user documentation
- Knowledge of monitoring customer usage , upgrading enterprise-wide OLAP tools, and verifying interoperability and security of front-end components.
- Knowledge of maintaining metadata and supporting production systems.
- Knowledge of process and data modeling and architectural development methodologies.
- Experience providing end-user support and functioning as a contributing member of one or more project teams.
- Experience training end users on new systems or tools and developing training aids to support adoption.
- Experience documenting data trend analysis and contributing to data clean-up efforts
- Experience developing custom queries, dashboards, and reports.
- Experience developing and producing data visualization products that summarize financial and operational data across multiple funding sources and budget entities.
- Experience with access databases
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 year(s) of related experience in business intelligence platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau.
Education:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
